Louis Dreyfus Company Barge Terminal

This project consisted of high-speed unloading and loading with the ability to unload 400 trucks and load 3 to 4 barges per day.  The facility consists of 4 truck dump pits; 280,000 bushels of vertical concrete storage; 500,000 bushels of vertical steel storage; a 60,000-bushel-per-hour, half-mile-long barge loading belt conveyor; a 12,000-bushel-per-hour Zimmerman tower dryer; a 2-story ­concrete sample building; a 50-foot by 75-foot maintenance shop; and a 24-foot by 74-foot main office building.
