After completing high school, Mr. Ebner went directly into the Civil Engineering program at Iowa State University. Upon completion of the B.S. program, he spent two years in the structural design of nuclear power plants, mainly in the design of structural steel. He then returned to college to get his M.S. degree in Structural Engineering. Graduate research was in the area of pile design for jointless bridges. Since the completion of his M.S. degree, he has been involved in the design of both structural steel and reinforced concrete.
Mr. Ebner currently carries professional engineering registration in several states, including the following, as well as NCEES certification: Alabama, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Delaware, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon (civil), Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Washington, and Wisconsin.
