Suterra Manufacturing Facility

The state-of-the-art 92,000-square-foot facility constructed of precast concrete includes an R&D laboratory and manufacturing and warehouse space designed to meet the growing needs of Suterra for providing products to the agriculture industry, domestically and abroad.  Suterra’s products provide non-toxic and environmentally safe ways to reduce insects in crops around the world.  The products disrupt the mating patterns of insects, which reduces the numbers in the fields.

The facility was constructed utilizing 840 pieces of precast concrete, including precast beams, columns, roof double-T panels, uninsulated interior wall panels, and insulated exterior wall panels.  Special sprinkler heads were used to protect both sides of the interior laboratory windows and avoid the exorbitant cost of special fire-rated glass.
